Privacy Policy
Effective May 2026
Mountville Motor Sales & Broker LLC ("Mountville Motors," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you use this website, fill out a form, text us, or stop by the lot, we may collect:
- Contact information (name, phone, email, mailing address)
- Application information (income type, employment duration, take-home pay range, down payment amount)
- Identification documents (driver's license, Social Security card, proof of income, proof of residency) — collected only at the dealership during in-person application
- Vehicle preferences and inquiries
- Communication records (SMS messages, calls, emails)
- Website usage information (pages viewed, device type, IP address)
2. How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries and qualify you for in-house financing
- To text or call you about vehicles, appointments, and your application
- To service your account if you become a customer (payments, service appointments, warranty)
- To improve our website and customer experience
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
3. SMS / text messaging
By submitting a form or otherwise providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Mountville Motors. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for assistance. We do not share your phone number or SMS content with third parties for their marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Call recording
Calls placed to or received from our published phone numbers may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and recordkeeping purposes. By continuing the call, you consent to recording. If you do not wish to be recorded, please tell us at the start of the call.
5. Who we share information with
We share your information only as needed to operate our business:
- Service providers: our CRM (HighLevel), email delivery (Resend), website hosting (Vercel), and similar vendors who help us operate. They are contractually bound to handle your information securely and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Insurance partners if you ask us to coordinate insurance.
- Government agencies as required by law (title transfer, tax reporting, lawful subpoenas).
- Successors in the event of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Vehicle tracking / lender protection devices
Some financed vehicles may be equipped with starter-interrupt or GPS-tracking devices to protect the lender's interest in the vehicle. If a device is installed on your vehicle, this will be disclosed to you in writing in your purchase paperwork before you sign. You are also informed of the device's presence and function at that time.
7. Cookies, analytics, and advertising tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how visitors use it. We may use:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — to measure site usage. Configured with IP anonymization.
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API — to measure the performance of Facebook and Instagram advertising and to build advertising audiences. The Pixel may share with Meta certain information about your visit, such as the page you viewed, button clicks, and form submissions.
- UTM and click-ID parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, fbclid, gclid) — captured from the URL when you arrive from an ad and stored locally to attribute conversions correctly.
- HighLevel Chat Widget (Marty) — our AI text assistant runs on HighLevel's chat platform. When you start a chat, your message and contact information are processed by HighLevel on our behalf and routed to our team. Marty's responses may be generated by AI; a human can take over at any time.
When you arrive on the Site, you'll see a cookie banner. Accepting allows the analytics and advertising tools above to load; declining stops them. You can also control or block cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of personalized ads at aboutads.info/choices or via Meta's ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram account.
8. Equal Credit Opportunity Act notice
Mountville Motors is a creditor that extends in-house financing. The federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract), because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program, or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The federal agency that administers compliance with this law concerning this creditor is the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Response Center, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20580.
9. Document uploads
If you upload documents through our application page (driver's license, paystubs, proof of residency), files are transmitted over HTTPS and delivered to our application inbox. We do not store uploaded files on this website's servers beyond delivery. We do not collect Social Security numbers through the website — please bring your card to your in-person appointment instead.
10. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law (e.g., financing records and title documents are retained for the period required by Pennsylvania motor vehicle and tax regulations). When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, however. If we ever experience a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Pennsylvania law.
12. Children
Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it.
